Cameroon to participate in  first ever 32 team FIFA world Cup

The 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar. It should be noted that this will be the first time this tournament will be held in the Middle East (Arab World). 

  This will be the first tournament that will be played with 32 teams. There will be an estimated addition of 16 teams making it 48 teams planned for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 

 This will also be the first tournament not to be played in May, June or July due to the intense summer heat in Qatar. This explains why the tournament was shifted to November and December.

  

 The group stage will kick off from Monday 21st November and will run through Friday 2nd December 2022. The tournament will play till Sunday 18th December. Meaning the  whole tournament will be played for 28 days.

This is how the Group G match is scheduled.

Thursday 24th Nov; Cameroon vs Switzerland, Brazil vs Serbia.

Monday 28th Nov;  Cameroon vs Serbia, Brazil vs Switzerland.

Friday 2nd Dec; Cameroon vs Brazil, Serbia vs Switzerland
