He is ready to meet the Liverpool coach to plead with him if he can allow Matip play the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

'They are players who have changed nationality because they were threatened by their clubs. They keep you out or slash your salary into two. Let me give you an example... Let our FECAFOOT president and the head coach travel to Liverpool to see Matip. He was obliged in his new contract to sign that he will not play for Cameroon. Do you deem that normal? See his country heading to the World Cup. I will like to go see the Liverpool coach, if it means kneeling down, I will kneel down. He should please let Matip play the world Cup. To me,a player who is termed big player and has never played a world cup with his country has nothing to show off. Preventing you from playing the World Cup is like seizing your beautiful wife who has given you great kids"
